Summer is definitely on its way here – except not where Martha lives. It’s more like monsoon season is going on. Her lovely garden is on hold until it dries out, which hopefully happens soon. Be sure to keep an eye on her Facebook pages and groups for videos of the garden as it comes together.
There is an amazing new urban fantasy anthology which Martha is headlining called Summer Solstice Shenanigans. She, along with 24 other authors, have a total of 25 short stories to share with everyone. Check out the preorder and if you like it, get it ordered. It releases June 21!
And check out those preorders below. Two of them (Mom’s The Word and Big, Bad Mother Dwarf’er) release tomorrow and Law and Disorder releases on Monday! Be sure to check them out.
You still have time to enter the Case Files of an Urban Witch contest. If you ever wanted a stand mixer, check out the contest below. Think about all the wonderful treats you can make with it!

Tara has finally cornered the vampire-bastard who killed her family, only to face a cold hard truth. This monster isn’t the only thing that goes bump in the night. There is something far worse out there.
Choose the lesser monster.
There is a great evil – one of the original evils, actually – and it also has Tara’s vampire in it’s sinful sites. Normally Tara would tell this new evil to get in line … the vampire is her’s to kill. But even she cannot deny that if this new evil gets its way, things would get a lot worse for the world. As in apocalyptically so…
To destroy it, Tara must fight by the vampire’s side.
But joining forces with her greatest enemy may prove to be too much to bear, especially when he revenge she craves so deeply is almost within her grasp.
If Mercy Thompson or Buffy ever managed to get a dragon, they’d be working with Tara Drake.
An who wouldn’t want a stand mixer to help them bake?
